Engine Power Output Low (Continued)
Inspect and clean any debris from the front of
Intake air overheated
the charge-air cooler. Refer to Procedure
Inspect for plugged passages in the after-
ftercooler restricted (if equipped)
cooler. Refer to Procedure 010-001.
Inspect the air cooler for internal and external
harge-air cooler restricted (if equipped)
restriction. Replace the restricted cooler if
necessary. Refer to Procedure 010-024.
Check the intake and exhaust systems for
restrictions. Inspect the intake air filter and
ntake and exhaust system restricted
replace as necessary. Refer to Procedure
010-031 or 011-009.
Check for leaks in the air crossover tube,
charge-air cooler connections, hoses, or
ir leak between the turbocharger and the
through holes in the manifold cover and repair
or replace if necessary. Refer to Section 10.
Check for the specified boost pressure. Inspect
urbocharger is worn or malfunctioning
the turbocharger. Replace if necessary. Refer
to Procedure 010-033.
Put the engine at top dead center. Check and
uel injection pump timing is not correct
adjust the fuel timing. Refer to Procedure
005-013, 005-014, or 005-037.
Check and adjust the valves. Refer to Proce-
alves are not sealing correctly
