Before continuing, make sure the fuel injection pump lock-
timing pin is disengaged.
Rotate the crankshaft counterclockwise, as viewed from
the front of the engine, to approximately 40 degrees before
Both the RQV and RQV-K governor require the shutdown
lever to be in the full-run position.
The governor lever must be positioned before pressur-
izing the fuel injection pump.

The RQV governor throttle lever must be in the low-idle
