STABILIZER CONTROLS CONTINUED
Occasionally there may be a need for fully extending one or both stabilizers in order to level the machine on slopes.
In these conditions, it may be necessary to use the boom (Figure 70, Item 1) to apply a down force to enable the stabilizers
(Figure 70, Item 2) to fully extend. In these conditions, raising the bucket (Figure 70, Item 3) off the ground also helps. Make
use of the inclinometer to ensure the machine is level before starting excavating operations.
