Pavement Breaker (Rock Drill) Lubricate
WARNING
You will be working close to and inside the machine for these jobs. Lower the work tools if
possible. Select the Maintenance Suspension Mode (WP 0004). Turn OFF the battery disconnect
switch. This will prevent the engine from being started. Ensure the parking brake is engaged.
Failure to follow this warning may lead to injury or death to personnel.
CAUTION
Position the pavement breaker vertically with its weight on the tool. The tool must be all the way
up in it s travel to prevent the grease being injected between the piston and the tool (Figure 28) or
equipment damage will occur.
Lubricate the pavement breaker through grease fitting (Figure 28, Item 1) with six shots of grease. Wipe excess grease with
rag (Item 18, WP 0033).
