Tests
11. Measure the distance (A) between the two marks.
Upperstructure must come to a stop within the
specified distance.
Upperstructure Must Stop Within--Specification
Distance...................................................... 1706 mm (67 in.) or less after
swinging 180 (1/2 turn) and then
releasing control lever
Repeat procedure in the opposite direction.
If upperstructure does not stop within the specified
distance, check the following:
Swing motor leakage. (See procedure in this
group.)
Swing motor crossover relief valves. (See
procedure in this group.)
Inspect swing valve spool. (See procedure in Group
3360.)
NOTE: The swing park brake does not stop the
upperstructure. The engagement of swing park
brake is delayed several seconds because
hydraulic oil is released from the piston cavity
through an orifice to return.
