Oil Pan and Suction Tube - Cleaning
and Inspection (7-01)
Steam clean the pan and suction tube.
Inspect the pan for cracks and damaged threads.
Inspect the oil suction tube and brace for cracks. Do not
reuse a cracked oil suction tube or brace.
Also check the block mounting surface for damage.
