General Information - Lubrication System
Oil Cooler Core
The B Series engine uses a full flow, plate type oil cooler. The oil flows through the element where it is cooled
by engine coolant flowing past the plates of the element.
The four cylinder engine uses five plates. The six cylinder engine uses seven plates.
NOTE: Some engines use a jumper plate in place of an oil cooler.
