Tighten front cover capscrews.
Remove the plastic pilot tool from the crankshaft.
Torque Value: 24 Nm
[18 ft-lb]
15 mm
Install the vibration damper. Refer to Procedure 001-052.
Do not tighten the capscrews to the correct torque speci-
fication at this time.
3/8-Inch Square Drive
Install the drive belt. Refer to Procedure 008-002.
Service Tip: If difficulty is experienced installing the drive
belt (the belt seems too short), position the belt over the
grooved pulleys first; then, while holding the tensioner up,
slide the belt over the water pump pulley.
Tighten vibration damper capscrews.
Torque Value: 125 Nm
