Loosen the CAV pump lockscrew and position the special
washer behind the lockscrew head.
Torque Value: 20 Nm
[15 ft-lb]
3/8 Inch
Loosen the Stanadyne DB4 fuel injection pump lock screw,
and position the special washer behind the lock screw
head.
Tighten the lock screw.
8-mm Allen or 10-mm Hex
On the Bosch pump, the special washer is wired to the
pump and must be installed under the lockscrew.
Torque Value: 13 Nm
[115 in-lb]
Disengage the timing pin before rotating the crankshaft.
