The EMS monitors the voltage from the alternator. If the engine is running and the output voltage from the alternator falls
below a pre-determined limit, the EMS will illuminate the warning lamp (Figure 43, Item 19). Simultaneously, the amber ser-
vice light on the front console warning panel will illuminate.
The system voltage is also displayed on a voltmeter located on the front dash panel. Normal system voltage with the engine
running will be between 24 and 28V.
