CLOSING HOOD
WARNING
Use caution and maintain three-point contact at all times when standing on loader crossbeam.
Use care when closing hood as hood and nosecone have contact points when closed.
Failure to follow these warnings may result in injury to personnel.
1.
Using three-point contact, stand on loader crossbeam between bucket link levers (Figure 2, Item 5) and lean thighs
against nosecone (Figure 2, Item 3).
2.
Close hood (Figure 2, Item 1) by slightly pulling in lower sides (Figure 2, Item 2) to maneuver latches around loader
arms (Figure 2, Item 4) while closing hood.
3.
Secure latches (Figure 3, Item 1) on both sides of hood (Figure 3, Item 2).
