30. Clean cover and ring gear mounting surfaces using
cure primer. Apply plastic gasket.
31. Install cover. Tighten cap screws.

32. Add gear oil to propel gearbox. Approximate capacity
is 6.0 L (6.5 qt). (See Swing Gearbox and Propel
Gearbox Oils in Group 0004.)
33. Clean threads of fill plug using cure primer. Apply
A--Fill Plug
pipe sealant.
B--Level Plug
C--Drain Plug
D--Cap Screw (16 used)
34. Install fill plug (A). Tighten plug.
E--Cover
Fill Plug--Specification
Torque ............................................................................. 50 Nm (35 lb-ft)
