Oil fumes or oil can ignite above 193C (380F).
Use a thermometer. DO NOT allow a flame or
heating element to come in direct contact with
the oil. Heat the oil in a well ventilated area.

11. Heat roller bearing (B) inner race to 70--90C (160--
194F). Install on drive shaft (A).
Roller Bearing Inner Race--Specification
Temperature ......................................................... 70--90C (160--194F)
12. Install outer race of bearing (B).
13. Install roller bearing (D) outer race onto spacer (C).
14. Install spacer with outer race onto drive shaft.
15. Heat inner race of roller bearing (D) to 70--90C
(160--194F). Install race onto drive shaft.

Temperature ......................................................... 70--90C (160--194F)
A--Drive Shaft
16. Apply clean oil to threads of nut (E). Install nut (E).
B--Roller Bearing
Tighten spanner nut (E) using JDG769 Spanner
C--Spacer
D--Roller Bearing
Wrench. Check rolling drag torque.
E--Spanner Nut
Drive Shaft Bearing--Specification
Rolling Drag Torque ............................................. 1--2 Nm (9--17 lb-in.)
