CAUTION: Explosive release of fluids from
pressurized cooling system can cause serious
burns.
Shut off engine. Only remove filler cap when
cool enough to touch with bare hands. Slowly
loosen cap to first stop to relieve pressure
before removing completely.
1. Close the shut-off valves on the engine or drain
coolant from radiator. The approximate coolant system
capacity is 22 L (6 gal).
2. Remove and install blower motor and heater core (0).
3. Tighten the hose clamps (25) until the hose just starts
to deform around the clamp.
