COOLANT LEVEL AND
YES: Go to next check.

E--Surge Tank Cap
CAUTION: Prevent possible injury. DO NOT remove radiator cap unless
engine is cool. When engine is hot and cap is removed, hot coolant or
steam will spray out causing serious burns.
Engine OFF and cool.
Remove surge tank cap (E).
Remove radiator cap (D).
Inspect coolant level.
Inspect coolant condition.
Is coolant level at bottom of fill neck on radiator?
Is coolant clear, not oily, foamy or rust colored?

YES: Go to next check.
RADIATOR INTERNAL
CAUTION: Prevent personal injury, DO NOT

passages in core clean, not plugged?
