The following greases are preferred:

John Deere HIGH TEMPERATURE EP GREASE
John Deere MOLY HIGH TEMPERATURE EP GREASE
John Deere GREASE-GARD
Other greases may be used if they meet NLGI
Performance Classification GC-LB.
