4. Remove mushroom valve (A) from distributor box body

(B). Inspect condition of sealing surface.
5. Clean valve, cover and set aside in clean area.
NOTE: If mushroom valve shows signs of wear, use valve
lapping compound to smooth the mating surface
between the valve and the box body cover (C).
