If engine started, operate
engine for one minute through
various rpm ranges (TM
5-3805-294-10). (Volume 5,
WP 0794)
6.
Refresh DTCs. Note if DTC
636.10 is an active DTC.

Turn key switch to OFF
position (TM 5-3805-294-10).
(Volume 5, WP 0794)
8.
Reconnect engine wiring
1.
If DTC 636.10 displayed
harness connector X01 to
active, replace engine.

and perform Harness
Diagnostic Mode Test.

If DTC 636.10 does not display
active, proceed to Malfunction

Loose.

Verify high-pressure fuel pump

If properly torqued, proceed to
sensor is properly torqued.

If not properly torqued, torque
sensor to proper torque.

machine to original condition
and perform Harness
Diagnostic Mode Test.
