Remove the nut from the drive shaft by striking the wrench
with a sharp blow in a counterclockwise direction.

Remove the dial indicator assembly and install the access
plug. Tighten to 8-10 Nm [6-7.5 ft. lb].

Locking Screw/O-Ring - Replacement (5-10)
Precisely mark the shaft position before removing the
locking screw.

Remove the locking screw and washer.
