After pressure is observed, connect the wire to the fuel
Prime the low-pressure fuel system by opening the bleed
screw.
Operate the plunger on the fuel transfer pump until the fuel
flowing from the fitting is free of air.
Tighten the bleed screw.
Torque Value: 9 Nm
[80 in-lb]
WARNING
Do not remove the radiator cap from a hot engine. Hot
steam can cause serious personal injury. The engine
coolant temperature must be below 50C [122F].
Operate the engine at low idle for 2 to 3 minutes.
Shut off the engine, and wait 5 to 7 minutes for the lubri-
cating oil to drain to the lubricating oil pan, and check the
lubricating oil and coolant levels again.
Fill the engine to the correct lubricating oil and coolant
levels, if necessary.
