Camshaft Bushings (001-010)

Mark the camshaft bushing and cylinder block so you can
align the lubricating oil hole in the cylinder block with the
lubricating oil hole in the bushing.
NOTE: Make sure the bore in the cylinder block and the
outside diameter of the bushing are clean from oil and dirt.
Install (001-010-026)
Apply Loctite primer to the outside diameter of the bushing
and the inside of the camshaft bore of the cylinder block.
Allow the primer to dry.
Apply a bead of Loctite 609, or equivalent, to 270 degrees
along the edge of the bushing that will be installed toward
the rear of the cylinder block.
CAUTION
Make sure there is no Loctite in the oil hole, or severe
engine damage can result.
Use extreme care not to apply Loctite to the oil hole in the
bushing.

Install the camshaft bushing so that it is even with the front
face of the cylinder block.
Use a clean, lint-free cloth to wipe off any excess Loctite.
