Shut off the engine. Wait approximately 5 minutes to let the
oil drain from the upper parts of the engine. Check the level
again.
Add oil as necessary to bring the oil level to the "H" (high)
mark on the dipstick.

Preparatory (007-029-000)
Thoroughly clean the area around the pressure regulator
plug to prevent debris from falling into the plunger bore
when the plug is removed.
Remove (007-029-002)

Remove the threaded plug, spring, and plunger.
Service Tip: The plunger normally can be removed by
inserting one finger into the plunger bore until snug and
pulling up. If the plunger can not be removed in this man-
ner, the plunger is probably stuck and will require removal
of the housing for plunger removal and cleaning.
