The HMEE-I is a pneumatic-tired, diesel-engine-driven, all-wheel-drive tractor with work tools for the excavation of small
emplacements, material handling, and general construction tasks. It has tactical mobility over rough terrain and high mobility
on roadways. The machine meets with federal highway safety standards as well as the emission standards as applied to heavy-
duty, off-highway engines. The machine can be conveyed by rail, marine, highway, and air modes.
CAUTION
The HMEE-I must not be used for large earthmoving blade work, obstacle blade reduction, or
assault breaching. Failure to follow this caution will result in damage to equipment.
NOTE
The GP front bucket and 4:1 front bucket are provided to push, scoop, and load material. The
ability to open the 4:1 to a light dozer blade provides leveling and limited dozing (movement of
loose soil) capability.
