Hold outer filter (Figure 11, Item 1) so open end faces ground.
CAUTION
Do not strike ends of outer filter on hard surface. Failure to follow this caution may result in
damage to outer filter seals, which may result in engine failure.
Do not use air pressure to clean out outer filter. Failure to follow this caution may result in damage
to outer filter.
4.
Gently tap completely around outer filter (Figure 11, Item 1) with hand to free trapped dirt.

Install outer filter (Figure 10, Item 1).
6.
Install cover (Figure 9, Item 2) and latch four latches (Figure 9, Item 1).
