ENGINE COOLANT
Check coolant level in overflow recovery tank. Be sure
YES: Indicator is OK. Go
LEVEL INDICATOR
level is between FULL and LOW marks.
to next step.
LIGHT (H20) CHECK
Turn key switch ON.
NO: Check indicator
lamp.
Observe coolant level indicator.
Does indicator come ON, then go OFF 2--3 seconds
later?

YES: Engine coolant level
switch is OK.
NO: Go to next check.

A--Fluid Level Check Switch
Push fluid level check switch.
Does coolant level indicator come ON?

ENGINE COOLANT
Disconnect harness from engine coolant level switch.
YES: Engine coolant level
LEVEL SWITCH (B6)
switch has failed.
CHECK
Connect a jumper wire between harness connector pins.
Replace.
Turn key switch ON.
NO: Check wiring
harness.
Push fluid level check switch.
Does coolant indicator come ON?
