CAUTION: To avoid injury from escaping fluid
under pressure, stop engine, and relieve the
pressure in the system before disconnecting
hydraulic or other lines. Tighten all connections
before applying pressure.

10. Disconnect lines (A--D).
CAUTION: The approximate weight of propel
gearbox with motor is 330 kg (730 lb).
Propel Gearbox with Motor--Specification

11. Connect propel gearbox and motor to a hoist using
lifting straps.
12. Using a 30 mm socket, remove propel motor-to-frame
cap screws and washers (E).
13. Replace parts as necessary.
14. Install propel gearbox and motor to frame. Tighten
cap screws (E).
A--Pilot Oil Port-to-Rotary Manifold "P1" Port

B--Bottom Port (Forward)-to-Rotary Manifold "1"
or "3" Port Line
Torque ......................................................................... 620 Nm (460 lb-ft)
C--Top Port (Reverse)-to-Rotary Manifold "2" or
"4" Port Line
15. Connect lines.
D--Drain Port-to-Rotary Manifold "D" Port Tee
E--Cap Screw and Washer (14 used)
16. Perform propel motor start-up procedure. (See
procedure in this group.)
17. Install propel motor cover.
18. Using a 19 mm socket, tighten propel motor cover
cap screws.
Propel Motor Cover-to-Frame Cap Screw--Specification
