ABNORMAL ENGINE NOISE.
Step 1.
Check for loose engine components.
Tighten loose components as necessary.
Step 2.
Check for loose or worn vibration damper (1).
If loose or worn, replace vibration damper (1).
Step 3.
Check turbocharger (2) for correct operation (Para L-12).
If turbocharger (2) is damaged or does not function correctly, replace turbocharger (Para L-12).
If fault continues, notify Direct Support maintenance (Appendix L).
