Gear Housing - Installation (0-73)
Mallet
If removed, install the two gear housing dowel pins.
The tapered end of the dowel fits into the cylinder
block; install the pin to the bottom of the hole.
Install the gear housing gasket.
10 mm
Install the gear housing and capscrews.
Apply Loctite 205 to the capscrews.
Torque Value: 24 Nm
[18 ft-lb]
Caution: Make sure the correct pump is installed. The 4
cylinder pump and 6 cylinder pump are not interchange-
able.
A = Four cylinder gerotor size
12.947mm [0.516 inch]
B = Six cylinder gerotor size
17.947mm [0.715 inch]
