Install the intermediate ring.

The top ring for a turbocharged engine is not the same
as the top ring for a naturally aspirated engine.
Install the top ring.
Balancer - Disassembly (1-33)
Refer to the procedures and specifications given in the
engine disassembly section, procedure (0-59), (0-60) and
(0-61).
The idler gear must be replaced if the backlash end
play exceed the specifications.
The shaft gears must be replaced if the backlash
exceeds the specifications.
The thrust bearing must be replaced if the shaft end
play exceeds the specifications.

Remove the thrust housing.
