COLD START PROCEDURES FOR +32 TO -26F (0 TO -32C) AND -26 TO -40F (-32 TO -40C)

Machine Condition

For the temperature range +32F to -26F (0C to -32C):
1. The suspension should be set in transport mode (lowered) (WP 0004).
NOTE
The cold start hydraulic valves are located on the right side of the machine behind the steps.
2.
The cold start valves (Figure 2, Items 3 and 4) should be set to open (position A on both).

The conventional cab heater temperature knob in the cold position (valve closed).
4.
Machine parked on level ground.
5.
Ensure the handbrake is applied and all hydraulic services are in the neutral position.
Start Procedure +32 to -26F (0 to -32C)

Turn the cold start valves 1 and 2 to position A (Figure 2, Items 3 and 4).
