Record the engine slow idle speed.
5. Disconnect the speed control cable (A) from
injection pump lever (B).
10. Adjust the fast and external slow idle stops as
needed.
6. Check that injection pump lever moves freely from
external slow idle stop (E) to the fast idle stop (C)

and back.
Speed........................................................................... 2050 75 rpm
7. Start the engine.

8. Push injection pump lever against fast idle stop (C).
Speed.................................................................... 1050 + 100 - 0 rpm
Record the engine fast idle speed.
11. Loosen nut (D) on the fast idle stop (C).
NOTE: The fast idle stop on the injection pump serves
as the stop when the HP (high power) mode is
