DISASSEMBLE AND ASSEMBLE PRIMARY
FUEL FILTER (WATER SEPARATOR)
IMPORTANT: The filter elements for the final and
primary filters are not interchangeable
because of the filter material. The final
filter element has three keys and the
primary filter element has four keys.
The keys in the filter element must align
with the notches in the filter head.
1. Loosen drain valve (31) to drain fuel into a container.
2. Loosen element retainer (24) to remove filter element
(23).
3. Remove sediment bowl (28). Clean the bowl.
4. Slowly loosen retainer for hand primer. Remove the
diaphragm and O-ring from the filter head (15).
