Select Engine Control Unit
(ECU) Only. (Volume 3,

Under Connected Data Points,
select ECU - (shown with
engine serial number).

Under ECU - (shown with
engine serial number), select
ECU - Data List - All. (Volume
3, WP 0363)

Under ECU - Data List - All,
select Fuel Temperature Input
Voltage. (Volume 3,
WP 0363)
9.
Monitor the Fuel Temperature
Input Voltage while gently
wiggling the engine wiring
harness between connectors
J03 and T05. Note any
fluctuations in the voltage. The
input voltage will increase to
approximately 5V when the
sensor circuit is open.
10.
When finished monitoring,
select Readings and select
Disconnect From Model(s).

11.
Select Yes to terminate your
readings connection. (Volume
3, WP 0363)
12.
Turn the key switch to the OFF

If voltage fluctuated, replace
position (TM 5-3805-294-10).

machine to original condition
and perform Harness
Diagnostic Mode Test.
