TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE

1.
Verify key switch is in OFF

Check For DTC
position (TM 5-3805-294-10).
174.03 Active
Status Change With
(Volume 5, WP 0794)
Fuel Temperature
Sensor
Disconnected.
2.
Disconnect engine wiring
harness connector T05 from
fuel temperature sensor.
(Volume 5, WP 0800, Figure
70)
3.
Turn key switch to ON position,
but DO NOT START ENGINE
(TM 5-3805-294-10). (Volume
5, WP 0794)
4.
Refresh the DTCs. Note if DTC
174.03 is an active DTC and
DTC 174.04 moved to stored.
(Volume 3, WP 0362)
5.
Turn key switch to OFF
1.
If DTC 174.03 is an active
position (TM 5-3805-294-10).
DTC, proceed to Malfunction
2.
(Volume 5, WP 0794)
If DTC 174.03 is not an active
2.
DTC, proceed to Malfunction
6.
Visually inspect engine wiring
1.
If damaged or has loose
2.
Engine Wiring
harness connector T05 for
sockets, repair connector T05
Harness Connector
damage and loose sockets.
T05 Has Damage or
