When DTC is Displayed
The engine is cranking or running and the error condition is active.
Related Information
The ECU does not detect a crankshaft position signal when engine is cranking or running.
This DTC may be caused by an open or shorted circuit in the sensor wiring.
Alarm Level
Warning.
The ECU will use the high-pressure fuel pump position signal input to determine piston position.
Prolonged cranking time may be required to start the engine.
