2-21. JACKING AND JACK STAND PLACEMENT.
Always securely support vehicle if required to work under it. Failure to comply may result in injury
or death to personnel.
Do not work on any item supported only by lift jacks or hoist. Always use blocks or proper stands
to support the item prior to any work. Equipment may fall and cause injury or death to personnel.
To prevent personal injury, exercise care when positioning vehicle stands beneath axle housing.

Using a 10-Ton jack, use the illustration above for placement of the jack and jack stand points for the IHMEE.
Keep engine compartment, radiator, batteries, hydraulic lines, fuel tank, lights, windows, BII toolboxes, and operator's station
clean. Remove any grease, oil, or debris buildup to avoid possible injury or vehicle damage. Do not spray water or steam
inside cab.
