Position the oil ring expander in the control ring groove.
Install the oil control ring with the end gap 180 degrees from
the ends of the expander.

Install the intermediate ring.
NOTE: There are several styles of middle ring (A verses B),
but all have a dark phosphate coating. Make certain that
the dot and the word "TOP" are facing up when installing
the piston.
NOTE: The top ring for a turbocharged engine is not the
same as the top ring for a naturally aspirated engine, how-
ever, they all have a shiny chrome appearance.
Install the top ring.
