Piston Ring Expander, Part No. 3823137
Remove the piston rings.
NOTE: Refer to Procedure 001-043 for cleaning and in-
spection of pistons.
Assemble (001-054-025)
Be sure FRONT marking on piston and the numbers on the
connecting rod and cap are oriented as illustrated.
Install the retaining ring in the pin groove on the frontside
of the piston.
Lubricate the pin and pin bores with engine lubricating oil.
