Install the lubricating oil pan and gasket. Refer to Proce-
dure 007-025.
Torque Value: 24 Nm
[18 ft-lb]

Install the lubricating oil pan drain plug.
Torque Value: 80 Nm
[59 ft-lb]
Fill (007-035-028)
Fill the engine with lubricating oil. Refer to the Operation
and Maintenance Manual, B Series Engines, Bulletin No.
3810205, for lubricating oil specification.
Operate the engine and check for leaks.
Stop the engine and check the lubricating oil level with the
dipstick. Refer to Procedure 007-043.

Initial Check (007-043-001)
NOTE: When filling the oil pan, use the fill tube on the side
of the engine rather than on top of the rocker lever cover.
Fill the engine with clean lubricating oil to the proper level.
Idle the engine to inspect for leaks at the drain plug.
