Engine Oil
Level Check
Perform engine oil check with the machine on a level surface and the
engine stopped for at least 1 hour. Failure to follow this caution may
result in damage to equipment.
a. Open the hood to check engine oil
b. Remove the dipstick (Table 5, Note 2) Oil level is above FULL or below
and wipe clean. Insert dipstick in dipstick ADD on dipstick.

NOTE
Report constant oil usage to Field Maintenance.
c. If the oil level is low, add the amount
of oil necessary to bring the level to just
below the FULL mark indicated on the
dipstick. Do not overfill. To add the
proper grade of oil (Table 5), remove the
oil filler cap and add oil as required.
d. Close the hood (WP 0019.1).
