Chain Runs In Wrong Direction

Notify Field Maintenance.
Chain Does Not Cut

Step 1. Check if chain is dull.
Sharpen chain to specifications (WP 0035).
Step 2. Check if there is too much tension on chain.
Adjust chain tension (WP 0035).
Step 3. Check if automatic oiler is not lubricating chain and bar.
Check and set automatic chain oiler (WP 0035).
Step 4. Check if chain is installed backward.
Remove chain and install correctly (WP 0035).
Step 5. Check if guide bar is worn.
If worn, notify Field Maintenance.
Saw Feels Hot

Step 1. Check hydraulic fluid level.
Fill to proper level (WP 0017).
Step 2. If tool is still hot, notify Field Maintenance.
Chain Is Difficult To Rotate Manually

Step 1. Check if chain and bar are properly adjusted.
Adjust chain tension (WP 0035).
Step 2. Check if hydraulic pressure is trapped in motor.
Disconnect and reconnect hoses.
Step 3. Check if chain drive links are damaged.
Replace chain (WP 0035).
Step 4. Check if guide bar is worn.
If worn, notify Field Maintenance.

Breaker Does Not Run

Step 1. Check if couplers or hoses are blocked at ports.
Remove restriction.
Step 2. Check if hoses are crimped or crushed.
If found, notify Field Maintenance.
Step 3. If breaker still does not run, notify Field Maintenance.
