Forklift Does Not Operate Properly

Step 1. Check position of mechanical stowage locks.
Release if required.
Step 2. Check if hydraulic oil level too low.
Step 3. Check if hoses or fittings are loose or disconnected.
Tighten hoses and fittings.
Step 4. Check if hoses are crimped or crushed.
If found, notify Field Maintenance.
Step 5. Check if hydraulic fluid is cold.
Allow fluid to warm to operating temperature. Activate tool intermittently to reduce warming time (WP 0006).
Step 6. If forklift assembly still does not sideshift, notify Field Maintenance.
Hydraulic System Overheats

Step 1. Check if hydraulic oil level too low.
Step 2. If hydraulic system still overheats, notify Field Maintenance.
Control Valves Leak

Notify Field Maintenance.
ROTARY SWEEPER TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURES

Brush Rotates In Wrong Direction

Step 1. Check if hoses are installed correctly.
Switch hose connection.
Step 2. If brush still rotates in the wrong direction, notify Field Maintenance.
Brush Slows Or Stops When Sweeping

Step 1. Check if brush pattern too wide.
Step 2. Check if hoses are crimped or crushed.
If found, notify Field Maintenance.
Step 3. Check if hydraulic fluid is cold.
Allow fluid to warm to operating temperature. Activate tool intermittently to reduce warming time (WP 0006).
Step 4. Check if travel speed too fast.
Travel no more than 17 mph (27 kph) while sweeping.
Step 5. Check if sweeping too much material at once.
Make several passes with sweeper.
Step 6. If brush still slows or stops when sweeping, notify Field Maintenance.
