Filling Sandbags

To get the right amount of material in the bags, drive the bucket slightly pointed down into the pile of material with the
back of bucket not touching the ground. The Full Fill Guide (Figure 3, Item 1) allows you to see when bucket is full.

After material is seen at Full Fill Guide, lift bucket straight up to get rid of material not needed to fill bags. Once you have
lifted about 12 in. off the pile, you can slowly tilt bucket back all the way to 90-degree angle to allow filling material to
drop into the bags.
Removing Loaded Bags

Before setting bags to the ground, release the hydraulic pressure by retracting the cylinder.
2.
Lower the sandbagger to approximately 12 in. from the ground.
3.
Tilt sandbagger forward about 45 degrees (bags should be touching the ground at this point).
4.
Tilt sandbagger back to 90-degree angle, which will allow bags to discharge.
5.
Lift sandbagger straight up and bags should be left standing, ready to be tied.
