15. Inspect bearing race and bronze ring seat surfaces

16. Inspect splines of splined nut (B). The teeth shall be
0.47 inch and 2.36 inch maximum.

20. Install new splined nut (A) using an hydraulic
17. If required, remove splined nut (A) as follows:
press.
18. Remove snap ring (B).
21. Install new snap ring (B).
19. Remove splined nut (A) using an hydraulic press.
