REMOVE ENGINE FROM 8000 TRACTORS
6081HRW Engines used in 8000 Series Tractors are
equipped with a front frame/oil sump which is also a
structural member of the vehicle. For access to the engine
oil pump, the engine must be removed from the vehicle.
Refer to TM1575 (8100, 8200, 8300, and 8400 Tractors--
Repair) for engine removal instructions. (For Tracks
models, refer to TM1621.)

REMOVE OIL PAN
Removing oil pan will allow access to engine oil pump.
1. Drain engine oil.
2. Remove oil pan and discard gasket.
3. Remove all gasket material from oil pan rail and
cylinder block mounting surfaces.
