Turn key switch to ON position,

2.
Note all DTC's and there
occurrence count.
3.
Clear and refresh DTC's.
(Volume 3, WP 0362)
4.
Disconnect Service
ADVISOR. (Volume 3,
WP 0375)
5.
Turn key switch to OFF
position (TM 5-3805-294-10).
(Volume 5, WP 0794)
6.
Wait 5 minutes, then turn key
switch to ON position, but DO
NOT START ENGINE (TM
5-3805-294-10). (Volume 5,
WP 0794)
7.
Connect Service ADVISOR.
(Volume 3, WP 0375)
8.
Clear and refresh DTC's.
1.
If DTC 158.17 does not appear
as a stored or active DTC, turn
(Volume 3, WP 0362)
key switch to OFF position (TM
5-3805-294-10) (Volume 5,
WP 0794) then disconnect
Service ADVISOR. (Volume 3,
WP 0375)
2.
If DTC 158.17 does appear as
a stored or active DTC, turn
key switch to OFF position (TM
5-3805-294-10) (Volume 5,
WP 0794) then proceed to
Malfunction 2.
1.
Replace ECU. (Volume 4,

ECU is Faulty.
WP 0508) Restore machine to
original condition.
