When DTC is Displayed
The engine is cranking or running and the error condition is active. The DTC may also be displayed during HARNESS
DIAGNOSTIC MODE TEST in Service ADVISOR, provided fuel rail pressure is below 725 psi (5 MPa).
Related Information
The ECU detects high resistance in the cylinder #6 electronic injector circuit.
The ECU has two internally-connected terminals which provide a shared high voltage supply to all the injectors. The
ECU switches the low side (ground) to control each individual injector.
This DTC can be caused by an open circuit or by a few ohms of additional series resistance anywhere in the injector
#6 circuit.
An open circuit in the injector high voltage supply may also cause active DTCs indicating high resistance in this and
in other injector circuits.
