Remove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags, bracelets, etc. If jewelry or tools contact positive electrical circuits, a
direct short may result. Damage to equipment and injury or death to personnel may occur.
Step 9.
Check solenoid coil `1' (11) for continuity.
If solenoid coil `1' (11) has between 36-38 Ohms, go to Step 14.
If solenoid coil `1' (11) does not have between 36-38 Ohms, replace solenoid coil (Para 12-34.2).
Step 10.
Check solenoid coil `2' (13) for continuity.
If solenoid coil `2' (13) has between 36-38 Ohms, go to Step 14.
If solenoid coil `2' (13) does not have between 36-38 Ohms, replace solenoid coil (Para 12-34.2).
Step 11.
Check solenoid coil `3' (14) for continuity.
If solenoid coil `3' (14) has between 36-38 Ohms, go to Step 14.
If solenoid coil `3' (14) does not have between 36-38 Ohms, replace solenoid coil (Para 12-34.2).
Step 12.
If solenoid coil `F' (15) has between 36-38 Ohms, go to Step 14.
If solenoid coil `F' (15) does not have between 36-38 Ohms, replace solenoid coil (Para 12-34.2).
Step 13.
Check solenoid coil `R' (16) for continuity.
If solenoid coil `R' (16) has between 36-38 Ohms, go to Step 14.
If solenoid coil `R' (16) does not have between 36-38 Ohms, replace solenoid coil (Para 12-34.2).
Step 14.
If continuity is present, replace remote shift valve (Para 4-14).
If trouble persists, notify Direct Support maintenance (page F-103).
