a. Removal.
Remove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags,
bracelets, etc. If jewelry contacts battery
terminal, a direct short may result in instant
heating of tools, damage to equipment, and
injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Tag all wires, and note their positions
before removal.
Remove cable ties as necessary.
All five solenoid coils are removed in the
same manner.

Remove nut (1) and O-ring (2) from spool
cartridge (3). Discard O-ring.
(2)
Remove solenoid coil (4) and O-ring (5)
from spool cartridge (3). Discard O-ring.
(3)
Disconnect solenoid coil (4) from wiring
harness (6).
Change 1
