Remove cotter pin (4) and pin (5) from clevis (6).
Discard cotter pin.

Remove clevis (6) from control cylinder (3).

Remove nut (7) from bracket (8) and control
cylinder (3).

Remove control cylinder (3) from bracket (8).
Ensure the transmission is adequately
supported before loosening transmission
mount. Failure to comply may allow the
transmission to shift, resulting in injury to
personnel and/or damage to equipment.

If required, remove two bolts (9),
lockwashers (10), and bracket (8) from
transmission (11) and mount (12). Discard
lockwasher.
b. Installation.
NOTE
Ensure hoses and tubes are reconnected to positions noted prior to removal.
Install cable ties as necessary.
(1)
If removed, install bracket (8) on transmission (11) and mount (12) with two new lockwashers (10) and bolts (9).
(2)
Align clevis (6) with shift rail (13), and install pin (5) and new cotter pin (4).
(3)
Position control cylinder (3) thru bracket (8) and place nut (7) on shaft of control cylinder (3). Do not install nut.
